What's in the window?

Many of you drive by and notice our ever-changing window display. Well, if you've ever almost wrecked the car staring too hard at the dresses, let us keep you driving safe by telling you about the cute frocks on display. Currently in the window are three fall dresses by

Matt & Nat is Back!

We are excited to have Matt & Nat back at JetSet for fall! If you don't have any of their bags you need one! They are a vegan company, so all of their bags are made from faux leather- keeping their price points low, while maintaining their animal- friendly image. So buy one and feel good about carrying it! Fashion First for Fall!

Fashion First is back for fall in Carytown! Participating stores stay open later the first Thursday of each month to offer great sales, special events, trunk shows, or just some extra shopping time for busy girls. As always, JetSet promises to have fun filled evenings this fall. On tap for us will be a fall open house/preview party, trunk shows from local jewelry designers and maybe even some special discounts... See the schedule below and stay tuned for more details!

Bella Designs

We are pleased to welcome Bella Designs jewelry to JetSet Boutique!
Local (Alexandria, VA) designer, Melissa Emerick, uses lots of color with fun sparkling beads and metal, as well as big chunky stones, to create her one of a kind pieces. Her items seem to be the perfect mix of trendy and classic blended together. We are also excited to have Melissa participate in a Bella Designs trunk show for Fashion First this fall- stay tuned for dates and details!

We can hardly believe it either- but yes, we are already getting in sweaters! Luckily this batch from 525 America is 100% cotton- soft, comfy, and not hot or itchy! And their prices are super affordable! Come by soon- they are selling fast!

Almost Famous!

JetSet Boutique has achieved celebrity status- well almost. We are so excited to let you know that JetSet has been featured in the August 20th issue of OK! Magazine on stands now!
Check out their trend special on page 69 to see fall's latest trends- including the Molly NY dress featured from JetSet!!
The dress is a deep red silk jacquard and sizes run 2-10. Beginning Monday 8/13 we will take pre-orders for the dress which has an expected delivery date of 8/30!! Those of you who are celebrity tabloid junkies, like we are, know that this is huge!! yay!!!!!

We've recently expanded our list of jewelry designers. In store now is Michelle Busch's collection! She uses a mix of delicate metals, resins, and swarovski crystals. Paper Dress Princess

If you've ever wondered where all the fabulous paper dresses come from on our JetSet girl on Cary street- let us solve the mystery for you.

Meet Megan-our lovely and multi-talented employee! Megan, a former fashion merchandising major, is now a sculpture major at VCU. She is constantly thinking of creative ways to dress our mannequin, and each dress is more awe inspiring then the previous! It takes her about a few hours for each creation- all done by hand, using tissue paper and materials found in JetSet. Check out her latest finished product down below, or on the sidewalks of Carytown- and no, sorry you can't wear or buy her dresses, but they are fabulous to look at aren't they?

New for the weekend!

Our favorite friendly UPS delivery guy Ivan just brought us a cute new delivery from one of our favorite new lines- Akiko. Great feeling fabrics and of the moment styles at affordable prices will make you want it all! We love the graphic print of the dress on the left- and especially the fact that it has sleeves for fall, and the black trapeze dress is adorable in every way- it doesn't get much easier than a little black dress! This arrival also offers two adorable baby-doll tops and a swingy sweater. It won't last long- we've already sold three pieces straight out of the box!!

We are loving the wrap dress- for fall or for anytime of year! These are great for working girls who want to look a little cuter in the office, or for body conscious women. Sizes run XS-L making them very figure friendly. These two are by Notice- each $172- making them budget friendly as well! Whether you are petite, or curvacious, a wrap dress is a must in your closet!
