Trend Report: Jewel Tones

We love that color is in for fall! While neutrals like black and gray will never fail you, this seasons jewel toned pieces are so fun and will definitely add a splash of color to your closet. Wearable Art X

On Saturday night our very own Megan Mueller participated in this year's Wearable Art Fashion show, put on by VCU at La Difference. After months of red-stained hands, and glue gun burns, her masterpiece was created. Below is the award winning "tampon dress", as modeled by her talented roomie, Racine. Yes that's right, her dress is made of tampons- but it sure looks cool! Megan took home 4th place, and the Theo Young Scholarship. Congratulations to our "paper dress princess" who always finds new and uber-creative ways to fashion a dress!

Seriously, if you haven't been invited to any Holiday parties yet, throw one yourself, because we have so many cute frocks to dress up in you won't be able to resist!

Trend Report: Trouser Denim

Not So Boring Basics

As your are beginning to build your wardrobe for fall, keep in mind some easy, basic pieces to have in your closet. Here are three dresses from Molly NY- that came in yesterday- that add a little flair to a great basic dress.

Wear the short one with ballet flats and layer it when it gets cold with leggings and a cardigan. Wear the brown one with a bold piece of jewelry and great shoes for an easy throw on outfit when and event pops up!
